Roport Match Service Terms

1. Order of terms

A written Match quote or order form identifies the package, search fee, role count, service clock, and scheduled search start. If the documents conflict, the order form controls first, these Match Service Terms second, and the general Terms of Service third. Payment of the quoted search fee constitutes acceptance of the version linked in that quote.

2. Approved Search Scorecard

Before a search begins, Roport and the client approve one Search Scorecard covering the role, must-haves, dealbreakers, developer compensation, availability, timezone needs, paid-trial budget, and decision process. A job post or initial request is discovery input; it is not the final search brief.

The service clock begins only after Roport confirms feasibility, receives payment, the Scorecard is approved, and the scheduled search start arrives. Material changes to the approved Scorecard may pause the clock, require re-scoping, or require a new quote.

3. What Roport delivers

Unless the order form says otherwise, the standard package delivers the agreed shortlist within 7 calendar days. A Key Hire search uses a 14-calendar-day clock. The shortlist obligation is met when the candidate dossiers agreed in the written order are presented to the client.

Each dossier identifies relevant work and the evidence supporting the featured game claims, plus live-screen notes, the candidate's stated rate and availability, known open questions, and a suggested first paid task. Evidence may be Roblox-confirmed ownership or edit access, an owner attestation, or a Roport staff review; it does not guarantee a candidate's performance.

4. Paid-Trial Concierge

For packages that include trial support, Roport prepares the trial brief and scoring sheet, recommends a pay band, confirms candidate acceptance, coordinates scheduling and reminders, and gathers the completed handoff. The client approves the scope, pays the developer for trial work, reviews the work, and makes every hiring decision.

Roport is not the developer's employer, payroll provider, escrow agent, or party to the client-developer services agreement. Developer compensation and ongoing work terms are agreed directly between the client and developer.

5. Client responsibilities

The client provides accurate requirements, sufficient developer and paid-trial budgets, one authorized decision-maker, and timely access to materials needed for the search. The client agrees to answer shortlist and scope questions within 2 business days and to decide on an available candidate within five business days of presentation.

A late client response pauses service clocks and availability protections until the response arrives. The client may contact and hire presented candidates directly, but remains responsible for the Match search fee and any accepted order.

6. Named protections

The 7-Day Clock. If Roport does not present the promised shortlist by the applicable deadline, the paid search fee converts automatically to Match credit and Roport continues the same search for seven additional calendar days. If that extension also ends without the promised shortlist, the search is recorded as failed and the full credit remains.

30-Day Cover. If a hired candidate fails to start or ends the engagement within 30 calendar days after starting, Roport provides one replacement search for the same approved role without a new search fee. A material role or compensation change is a new search.

Credit-Back. Match credits are not cash refunds, have no cash value, do not expire, and may be transferred once to another client with Roport's written confirmation. Credits cannot be resold or stacked unless a written order says otherwise.

7. Candidate changes and re-sourcing

If all presented candidates miss the approved Scorecard and the client supplies written reasons, Roport provides one re-sourcing round before treating the search as failed. A candidate who accepts a paid trial and then does not attend is replaced without reducing the agreed shortlist.

A candidate who changes the written rate for an unchanged brief, or becomes unavailable while the client's five-business-day decision window is open, is replaced. Client delay after that window, a changed brief, or a rejected candidate for reasons outside the Scorecard does not create a free replacement obligation.

8. No hiring or performance guarantee

Roport guarantees the defined search process and the remedies above; it does not guarantee that the client will hire a candidate or that any candidate will achieve a particular business, creative, or technical result. The client remains responsible for final diligence, access controls, contracts, payment, supervision, and acceptance of developer work.

9. Privacy and proof

Search details, candidate materials, outcome notes, and client feedback are kept private by default. Roport may record anonymized operational metrics. A client name, logo, direct quote, case study, or identifiable hiring outcome is published only with explicit permission.
